This one has come on in the town at £99,500. I suspect there is a deal to be done here. Burder Street tends to offer negotiation scope on price in my experience. If this could be bought for £95,000 it would let at £495 pcm unfurnished (I've just let one down here at that price). Therefore a gross yield of 6.25% is achievable. Burder Street is sometimes overlooked, wrongly in my opinion, by btl investors.
This is 2 bedroom and in nice interior order. As a turn of the century style terrace it has two double bedrooms and generous space downstairs; this kind of space is not easy to find in modern properties. The garden will be small and can be made low maintenance. With it's bedroom sizes and it's close proximity to the train station it would suit sharers and young professionals well.
Again, not a large outlay and with one of the current crop of low interest fixed deals this could work very well.
